Mid-Autumn Festival falls on 29 September.

During this period, expect to see giant lanterns light up, carnivals, workshops and various activities all over Singapore. Here are the Mid Autumn Activities and Events for Families 2023. 

                                             Mid-Autumn Festival 2023 @ Gardens by the Bay

Gardens By the Bay

15 Sep – 1 Oct, 6pm-10pm

Free Event

Large Lanterns will be back at Gardens by the Bay for the Mid Autumn Festival. See colourful lanterns inspired by Chinese mythology, legends and cultures depicting reunion, fate and affinity. There will also be free cultural performances, activities, carnival games and street food!

Chinatown Mid Autumn Festival

Chinatown

From 15 September

Free Event

Chinatown will be another destination to head to for mid-autumn festivities. From mooncakes to mesmerizing performances to Chinatown light-up, this place will be the perfect place to head down for a walk under the moon.

Mid-Autumn Festival x Tayo Station

Downtown East

29 Sep, 1pm-830am

Free Event

For younger kids, this event would be the best fit for them. There will be a Meet and Greet with Tayo, a kids’ archery corner, clay mooncakes keychain workshops and even a lantern walk. If you stay in the east, this would be the best place to be for mid autumn festival.

A Spectacular showcase hosted in both Hokkien and Mandarin. Enjoy local song performances and familiar xinyao tunes to bring back the joy and laughter of the good old days. Guests will take home a pair of mooncakes.

Gardens of Lights

Step into a world of whimsical wonder with Mid-Autumn festivities at Vivocity with Sanrio Characters. The Sky Park will be transformed into a ‘Garden of Lights’ with these giant lanterns of Hello Kitty, My Melody and more.


Wan Qing Mid-Autumn Festival 2023

Sun Yat Sen Nanyang Memorial Hall

This yearly event is back. Look out for Giant Lanterns at its Lawn Installation, various workshops, craft sessions, storytelling and more.
