Bugaboo Owl By Nuna Review

The super-stylish Bugaboo Owl by Nuna is Bugaboo’s newest i-Size car seat, and here’s why we think it’s a great option for new parents.

Built for adventure, the Bugaboo Owl by Nuna is designed to grow with your child from birth up to 4 years (or 18kg), so it’ll be there from the very first day you bring them home from the hospital.

The Bugaboo Owl can be used in a rear-facing position from birth to 4 years, providing greater protection for the baby’s head, neck and spine than a forward-facing seat.

Bugaboo’s 360 spin car seat

Lifting your little one into a car seat is so much easier with a spin seat. Whether you’re a new mum recovering from birth, or a mum of a wriggly toddler, a rotating car seat makes transitioning your child into their seat and buckling up super simple.

With just one easy click, you can connect your Bugaboo Owl Car Seat to the 360 base and enjoy full rotation even when the seat is reclined. The sideways position is the piece de resistance though, it’s the one that makes getting your child in and out of the car, quite literally, a dream, letting those all-important naps go undisturbed.

Comfort

The seat’s five-point safety harness offers little ones a secure and comfy ride surrounded by machine washable soft-touch bamboo and merino wool fabrics combined with ventilation slots to keep them cool whatever the weather.

With six headrest positions, a comfortable newborn inlay and removable infant inserts, the Bugaboo Owl by Nuna evolves with your baby from day one. The car seat’s five recline positions make napping on the go easier than ever, so you can journey further.

Superior safety

When it comes to choosing a car seat for your new baby, safety has to be top of your list. Good news – the Bugaboo by Owl has carefully ticked every box. Let’s give you the low-down:

The innovative design features a shell with heavy-duty power, shock-absorbing Tailor tech™ memory foam in the headrest, and a detachable side-impact protection pod that significantly reduces any force on impact, so your baby is safe as they travel.

The Bugaboo Owl by Nuna’s 360 base has an integrated rebound bar to help minimise rotation in the event of a crash, and the base’s stability leg has a crumple zone to absorb energy to ensure your precious cargo is kept safe and sound at all times.

i-Size certified car seat

The Bugaboo Owl by Nuna is a rear and front-facing convertible child car seat fully compliant with i-Size safety requirements. The car seat is designed to be used with an ISOFIX base, which means super easy installation for complete peace of mind. The ISOFIX anchor points and visual indicators on the car seat will let you know when the seat is installed correctly. The ISOFIX base incorporates true lock technology and multi-adjustable ISOFIX positions so you can ensure the optimum fit for your vehicle.

‘i-Size’ is an EU safety regulation for child car seats (ECE R129), making child ISOFIX car seats easier to fit, and ensuring better protection from side impacts. i-Size car seats are also intended to keep children rearward-facing for longer.

The Bugaboo Owl by Nuna is available at XYZ. RRP: Note: the ISOFIX base must be purchased separately.
