Fancy a seafood feast in the comfort of your house?

We had the opportunity to try out the Seafood Shellout by Royal Cuisine Group.
If you are a seafood lover, you would love this value-for-money mini seafood
feast.

The seafood buffet consists of a variety of seafood as follows

Review

Seafood Shellout box

The Seafood Shellout came nicely packed into a customised box.

Seafood Shellout

In the box are 2 platters that are packed with Seafood delights.

Seafood Shellout

The seafood is warm when delivered, so if you are ordering to eat on the
spot, we recommend getting it closer to your meal time. Otherwise, you can
always choose to heat up the dishes when you are ready.

There are a selection of sauce you can choose for your seafood to be cooked
in

  • Chilli Crab
  • Cajun
  • Spicy Cajun
  • Black Pepper
  • Salted Egg

We decided to opt for the Cajun style which in our opinion suit this Seafood
Shellout perfectly. With a dash of rosemary, the seafood is enhanced with a
woody and peppery taste.

Seafood Shellout

The seafood was fresh and delightful. A surprise on the menu was the Mud
Crab. It was supposed to weigh in at 1.5kg. Instead of 1 crab, we had 2
regular portions that are pretty decent in portion.

Awesome Seafood feast

While this dish was meant for 10, we reckoned it is more for 5-6 if you are
getting it as a standalone dish. If you are complimenting it with a buffet,
it should work fine. Royal Cusine Group does have a wide selection of buffet
options including mini buffets that you can choose from to enhance the meal.

Fresh!

Verdict

Overall the Seafood Shellout is fresh and in our opinion worth the bang for
the buck. In our recent trip to a popular seafood restaurant, a crab about
1.5kg already cost $150. With the additional seafood thrown in the mix, we
reckoned that this is a good deal.

This Seafood Shellout would be perfect for mini parties or a little
indulgence at home!
